Step inside and prepare to indulge your senses with a menu that reads like an ode to classic Italian flavors, elevated with careful attention to freshness and quality. Whether you crave the velvety embrace of the Creamy Chicken Alfredo, the rich and satisfying layers of their Seafood Lasagna featuring shrimp and crab, or the light, crispy allure of the Five Cheese White Pizza, every dish is crafted to delight.

Seafood enthusiasts will revel in specialties like the Creamy Clams—tender clams bathed in a luscious parmesan sauce—or the Red Clam Pasta where savory clams are sautéed in olive oil with a hint of spice from red and black pepper, garlic, and fresh parsley. Vegetarians and cheese lovers won't be disappointed by Quattroformaggi, a decadent blend of bleu cheese, parmesan, provolone, and romano melted into a silky sauce that clings lovingly to each tender pasta strand.

For those seeking a heartier meal, the baked casseroles are standout options. Try the Scampi & Artichokes, which marries succulent shrimp with the delicate earthiness of artichoke hearts in a buttery garlic sauce over linguini, or the Chicken Parmesan, a flawless combination of tangy pomarola, mozzarella, and parmesan cheeses baked to gooey perfection. The Sherry Cream Mushroom Chicken is another decadent highlight, offering a creamy bourguignon-inspired flavor with mushrooms and rich parmesan that lingers satisfyingly on the palate.

Pizza lovers are raving about Sgt. Peffer's pies—from classic options like the New Yorker and Meat Pizza to unique favorites such as the Frankenzza. Crisply baked crusts topped with generous, flavorful ingredients make each slice a savory experience worth savoring. Accompany your meal with starters like Mozzarella Sticks or BBQ Meatballs, and don’t miss a bowl of their flavorful Mushroom or Minestrone Soup served with homemade rolls.

Customer experiences underscore the genuine care and quality that set Sgt. Peffer's apart. David Cloyed shared how the spaghetti and meatballs was the perfect size for his date night, emphasizing the tenderness of the meatballs and the attentive, knowledgeable service that enhanced the evening. Meanwhile, pitterpaw hailed it as the best Italian food in town, particularly noting the Chicken Florentine soup as the most delicious they've ever had. Pizza aficionados like Jason Royer highlight it as a must-stop for seriously good pies that will not disappoint.

The friendly and attentive staff bring warmth to the experience, even when initial wait times occur, as Lena Falkner found, the service quickly made up for any delays. Tsan Diltz-Rydel’s note on the convenient takeout experience, while humorous about the hidden napkins, speaks to the thoughtful packaging that accompanies meals for a perfect picnic by the park.

Took my daughter on a date here this past weekend. The spaghetti and meatballs was exactly we were looking for. It was big enough for us to split, each getting a meat ball and she had plenty of left overs. We got a side salad and extra rolls. We should have gotten the house dressing. Ranch and blue cheese dressing was in a package. The waitress was kind and knowledgeable. The busser was attentive and cleaned tables who finished quickly. The tables and chairs need some help. Our table tilted and rocked considerably. The chairs were plastic and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the decor and atmosphere were inviting. We’ll definitely be back!

Looked like the person who was supposed to take our order was interviewing someone and it took awhile for anyone to even acknowledge us but when we finally were acknowledged, the service was great! The grilled chicken salad used to have a lot more spinach in it but now it's primarily iceberg lettuce. Still good though. The soup of the day was some sort of creamy vegetable soup and it was great! I stop here everytime I come to visit and now that I've shared the food, I'll have a much larger order when I return!

Found my way around the construction to get a sandwich today. Haven’t been down here for a couple months honestly and forget how great the food is! Got the Strombo Sandwich and it was delicious. Comes with a side of potato salad. Only down side was I picked it up and drove to the park for a picnic. The napkin and spoon were like hidden under the foil in the box and I had no idea they existed until I was done eating. It’s silly but maybe stick those in the bag for us simple folk who don’t search under the foil liner in the box! Even though I had to eat the potato salad like a Jell-O shot, overall a great place to eat lunch! If you think you’re missing something, look harder lol

Have y'all ever had Sgt Peffers pizza? We stopped by there on Friday as we were craving a pizza. We keep seeing awesome reviews and pictures so we decided to do something about it. We were definitely missing out this whole time we've lived in Omaha. I love a pizza that you can really taste all of the fresh ingredients and it's not just a mash of cheese and sauce. Granted, I have my days when I just want some Little Caesars but good quality pizza is really out here. The crust, the sauce, the toppings, and the cheeeeeese! I'm a bit of a food monster so I also wanted to try the roast beef sandwich. (Yes I ate the sandwich and pizza) I was really impressed with the taste on this too. The bread was toasted yet really soft. The beef was moist and not overly seasoned. The provolone was stringy because of how hot it was coming out but YES MA'AM I'd order another in a heart beat! Can't sleep on Sgt Peffer's anymore! This is going on our regular visits list!
